Alustar 200 is a highly concentrated liquid alkaline parts washer cleaner for automatic and high-pressure parts washers, spray wash systems, immersion tanks and ultrasonic cleaning equipment.
Mixed with water at low concentrations, Alustar 200 provides powerful removal of oils, greases, pigment contamination and manufacturing residues while keeping chemical consumption and operating costs down. Unlike powdered alkaline cleaners, the liquid concentrate is easy to dose and mix into the cleaning bath, without the problems that can occur when cleaning powders do not fully dissolve.
Its low-foaming formulation makes Alustar 200 particularly well suited to spray and automated cleaning processes. It is effective at room temperature, with cleaning performance increasing as the operating temperature rises.
Alustar 200 is also demulsifying, allowing removed oils and greases to separate from the cleaning solution rather than forming a stable emulsion. This makes it easier to remove separated contamination and can help extend the useful life of the cleaning bath.
Despite its strong alkaline cleaning action, Alustar 200 can be used on a broad range of materials including aluminium, galvanised surfaces, non-ferrous metals, steel, stainless steel and plastics.
